The Laboratorio Universitario de Metrologia (LUM) of the Universidad Politecnica de Cartagena, has among his main activities the calibration of reference gauges and dimensional measuring equipment, instruments and accessories from different private companies, public organizations and other laboratories and verification departments which requires our services as reference laboratory, as well as the emission of the calibration certificates for the reffered to gauges and measuring instruments
Among the reference gauges and dimensional measuring equipment that are calibrated in our facilities, it can be highlighted as an example the calibration of equipment such as three coordinate measuring machines, one coordinate measuring machines, roughness-profile testers, profile projectors, electronic indicators, etc., instruments such as calipers, micrometers (external and internal micrometers), indicators (digital and dial indicators), depth gauges, bars, spheres, goniometers, etc., reference elements such as roughness gauges, spherical gauges, surface plates, etc. and many other measuring equipment, instruments and accessories that should be calibrated according to the needs of our clients.
