The Laboratorio Universitario de Metrologia (LUM) presents the different systems and equipment required for the dimensional calibration and verification, and the reference gauges and instruments that allow the assurance of traceability of the carried out calibrations and verifications, besides general facilities oriented to the maintenance of the optimum operation conditions during the measuring process, including the system for control of the temperature and relative humidity in the inner space of the laboratory, the isolation against possible vibrations in other zones of the building, the correct lighting in the measuring positions, the quality management system according to the standard ISO 9000 and the technical documentation that serves as support for the diffferent offered services.
